We offer home baked goods – artisan breads, mmm warm from the oven - gourmet cookies, soft and gooey - Focaccia, perfect for your BBQ and a glass of wine. From our greenhouse an array of perennials, garden transplants and annual flowers are always available. The Market experience isn't just about buying and selling it's about the people - the interaction - the music - the experience. Sunflower Patty's Greenhouse

& Market Garden – boasts an amazing selection of produce, naturally grown on her family’s 4 acre farm located in Brisco, just south of Golden.

Vegetables are harvested the night before Market day and brought directly to the Market – guaranteed fresh! Organic fertilizers coupled with a pesticide-free practice result in healthy and flavoursome vegetables and fruits. Mouth-watering strawberries and greenhouse tomatoes grown on the farm are much sought after by market goers. Other favourites include preserves, jams, jellies and pickles (people line up for her ‘sweet & hot’ pickles).

Penny Pitcher Penny Pitcher

My macro photos of springtime wildflowers were clear, colourful, competent, but they didn’t reflect the spirit and energy of the real thing.  So I spent some time with my flowers, playing with them outside the constraints of photography.  Thus were born Springtime Swirls.

Springtime Swirls are printed on museum grade, poly-cotton blend, fine art canvas, free of optical brighteners and designed for the ultra chrome ink set that I am using.  They are varnished and stretcher framed.  The non yellowing water-based varnish protects against moisture and abrasion. Spring is easily my favourite season of the year, and I feel fortunate to live in the Canadian Rockies where this season lasts from May through August, wending its way from the valleys to the Alpine meadows.

Once customers have tasted our honey they come back year after year to buy our high-quality product.

Our bees collect nectar from 40 different wildflowers found in the valley bottom and the mountain hillsides – where there is no spraying of chemicals.

To make this unique and flavoursome honey the bees work hard.
The lifetime work (in summer 6 weeks) of 556 bees produces 1 pound of honey.
