Apple Island Naturals
Apple Island Naturals is located in Golden BC and specializes in natural, cruelty-free personal care products.
I have a background in health care and a love of nature and animals which inspires me to create human-friendly and environmentally-conscientious goods. I only buy my packaging and ingredients from Canadian suppliers because I believe in helping to employ other Canadians, and I am always looking for more ways to be more environmentally responsible. Look for Apple Island Naturals on PETA’s list of cruelty-free businesses! Thanks for shopping local!

The Porcelain Garden
I have sold the "porcelain" portion of my business but am keeping the same name and contact information for "The Porcelain Garden".
I have now started creating unique bracelets. The original vision for the last 2 years was to create fabric beaded bracelets in a medieval theme (think Matilda and the Bayeux Tapestry created around 1068). However I also saw many vintage dresses with beautiful beading and patterns. Vintage dresses won as there are so many beautiful types and designs to choose from. I will also continue to create jewelry from locally sourced twigs found while exploring the backcountry around Golden plus jewelry created from an 1890's map.
I hope that you will stop by my vendor booth on Saturdays to view my exciting new creations and who knows, I may eventually be able to incorporate a medieval theme as this is still calling to me......
For all of my faithful porcelain customers - though the porcelain jewelry portion of my business has been sold, the new buyer(Melody) has been shown how to create this type of jewelry and looks forward to working with you to create pieces from your families heritage porcelain. Please just let me know and I will put you into contact with her.

Rocky Mountain Honey Farm
Once customers have tasted our honey they come back year after year to buy our high-quality product.
Our bees collect nectar from 40 different wildflowers found in the valley bottom and the mountain hillsides – where there is no spraying of chemicals.
To make this unique and flavoursome honey the bees work hard.
The lifetime work (in summer 6 weeks) of 556 bees produces 1 pound of honey.

Roger in brand new display booth
Wooda Cooda was born in 2012. I opened a shop on Etsy.com because I figured that starting out on an established website would be a good way to kick start my new business. Now, not even a year later, my little shop has over 700 sales and is going strong.
I love working with wood and the materials nature puts before me (much of what I make is created from leftover pieces of wood and downed tree branches). I love it when folks buy something and take joy in their purchase whether it’s a custom guitar or a simple set of buttons. I love to wake up in the morning and have the freedom to create whatever I choose.
